Walker Elliott has partnered with our client to search for a Site Procurement Manager in Augusta, Georgia. It's a pivotal role in achieving our strategic procurement excellence goals.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Site Procurement Team: Provide hands-on support and guidance to the site procurement team, ensuring effective execution of procurement processes.
• Define Procurement Resources: Establish clear goals, objectives, and annual training plans for the procurement team.
• Active Member of Site Leadership Team: Collaborate with other site leaders to drive overall business success.
• Agile Support During Unplanned Outages: Respond swiftly and effectively during unexpected disruptions.
• Support Category Management & Procurement Initiatives: Contribute to the implementation of strategic initiatives.
• Contract Management: Oversee site contracts and Master Service Agreements.
• Engage with Cross-Functional Teams: Collaborate with Legal, Insurance, Treasury, EH&S, and other functions to negotiate and vet contractual terms.
• Supplier Relationship Management: Establish and monitor supplier relationships, ensuring performance aligns with agreed metrics/KPIs. Conduct supplier Quarterly Business Reviews.
• Supplier Data Maintenance: Manage the supplier creation and data maintenance process

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree: Required in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain Administration, Finance, or a related field.
• Relevant Experience: Minimum 5+ years in procurement, strategic sourcing, supply chain management, and financial analytics.
• Leadership Experience: At least 5 years of leadership experience.
• Certifications: Beneficial certifications include Procurement (SCMP/CPSM), Inventory Management (CIPS), Lean Six Sigma, or Operational Planning.
• Industry Experience: Preferred experience at a large industrial site in the petrochemical or oil and gas industry.
• Systems Proficiency: Familiarity with enterprise asset management systems such as Oracle/SAP and eProcurement.
