Description:
Sr. Regulatory Analyst (onsite)
Walker Elliott is working with an upstream oil and gas company in Denver, CO and they are looking to hire Sr. Regulatory Analyst. The position will be responsible for ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations, specifically those set forth by COGCC. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in regulatory compliance, with specific experience in navigating COGCC regulations. This is full time position with a strong base, bonus and LTI plan.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure the company’s operations comply with all application regulations, with a primary focus on COGCC requirements.
- Manager the preparation and submission of permit applications and ensuring for accuracy and timeliness.
- Prepare and submit required reports to regulatory agencies.
- Stay informed about changes in regulations and policies at the state and federal levels.
- Analyze the potential impact of regulatory changes on company operations.
- Assist in ensuring compliance with environmental regulations.
Requirements:
- Degreed
- 3+ yrs. in regulatory compliance within oil and gas industry and specific to COGCC
- In depth knowledge of COGCC rules, regulations, and processes
- Strong analytical skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
